What a great way to kick off 2026!
Please help me congratulate January’s STUDENT OF THE MONTH:
TERESA GALINDO

- Age: 50
- Profession: Secretary
- When did you first start training at WOFB and how did you find out about us?
I found out about WOFB years ago through Instagram but never joined. My husband gave me the push to join WOFB in May 2021 and I am so glad he did. - Tell us about your sports & fitness background: For years (on and off), I have joined gyms doing step classes, spinning classes, etc. I also tried CrossFit and participated in a Half Marathon. But none kept me motivated to stay consistent and to take care of my fitness and health like WOFB.
- Favorite Exercise (or type of workout): Definitely leg day!
- Least Favorite Exercise: Pull-ups
- What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and overall fitness since starting WOFB?
I feel stronger and have more energy and endurance. I no longer have knee pain. I’ve been with WOFB for almost 5 years. I lost a total of 115 pounds the first year and a half. I have gained some weight (and have lost it) but never to the weight I started. I am very grateful for all the Coaches at WOFB, especially Coach Lo for showing me how to stay motivated, stay consistent, and build discipline. She is always pushing us to be better!!! WOFB has also given me more than workouts, it’s given me a circle of women who inspire, motivate, and lift each other up. I am so thankful for the connections and energy we share.
Teresa, we are so proud to celebrate you! Your strength, resilience, and commitment over the past five years are nothing short of inspiring. Losing 115 pounds, overcoming pain, building discipline, and continuing to show up, even through life’s ups and downs, speaks volumes about who you are. You embody what WOFB is all about: consistency, courage, and community. Thank you for being such a powerful example to the women around you.
