SHANICE
1. Age: 24

2. Profession: Pharmacy Technician and pre-law student

3. When did you first start training at WOFB and how did you find out about us?
December 2024, while driving in the plaza.

4. Tell us about your sports & fitness background: I used to be part of a marching band during Middle and High school. After? LOL

5. Favorite Exercise (or type of workout): Running

6. Least Favorite Exercise: Lunges

7. What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and overall fitness since starting WOFB?
I have lost 45 pounds so far since starting WOFB. I am much more mindful with my diet, and making much healthier food choices. This was something that I struggled with greatly after high school, and caused me to gain 90 pounds. My consistency is not perfect, but I am making progress. I feel much more confident to reach my goal weight of 145 pounds, than I was prior to starting WOFB at 215 pounds. I am definitely much stronger as well, not just with strength training but with cardio as well.

SHANELLE

3. When did you first start training at WOFB and how did you find out about us?
December 2024 and my sister and I moved to FIU in June 2024 and we saw the WOFB sign in the area and decided to try it out and ended up loving it.

4. Tell us about your sports & fitness background: I have been in the marching band since middle school.

5. Favorite Exercise (or type of workout): Cardio 🙂

6. Least Favorite Exercise: Balance

7. What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and overall fitness since starting WOFB?
Being consistent with my health and fitness has helped me be consistent and disciplined in all other areas of my life.

This month we are celebrating not one, but TWO incredible women who earned Student of the Month together, Shanice and Shanelle! Watching these twin sisters show up for each other, stay consistent, and grow stronger every week has been inspiring.

Since starting WOFB in December 2024, they’ve transformed not only physically but mentally. Shanice has already lost 45 pounds and continues to make healthier choices with confidence and intention. Her journey reflects determination, honesty about struggles, and a powerful commitment to progress over perfection. She’s getting stronger in every sense of the word.

Shanelle’s consistency has spilled into every area of her life. She reminds us that discipline in fitness builds discipline everywhere. Her cardio endurance and dedication to training show how much she values long-term health and growth.

Together, they represent what WOFB is all about: accountability, sisterhood, and resilience. They push each other, laugh through tough workouts, and prove that success is sweeter when shared.

Their story is not just about weight loss, it’s about confidence, discipline, and choosing to keep showing up. And that is what makes them such deserving Students of the Month.

We are SO proud of both of you. Keep chasing those goals… the best is still ahead.
